Wabi- Sabi is the ancient art of finding beauty in all accepts of life including imperfections. It is based on the elements: that nothing lasts, nothing is finished and nothing is perfect. It is about finding perfection in imperfection.
I have invited a few creative bloggers to share some of their wabi-sabi.
Sheets + pillowcases in the wash.
Duvets + pillows waiting to be clothed + beds waiting to be made.
Finding peace + clarity in washing dishes by hand (we don't have a dishwasher).
Children bathing.
Laundry that is never finished, always in transition.

I love how these photos display so many characteristic of a wabi sabi home- with asymmetry, simplicity, modesty and intimacy.
