I love words- and I love art that incorporates words.
When I was thinking about what to do with my older monkey's room- inspiration hit me one night when I was home alone drinking wine.
I didn't have a plan I just painted out the words as fast as I could, not even allowing for the paint to dry off the stencils.
His room is covered in about forty words-
Words that I hope will inspire and perhaps put a smile on my monkeys face.
What words would you put up on the wall?

Cute! I would put love, laugh, sing! :)
Words on my wall right now:
"Words can be deleted, but the facts won't be deleted with them" Ai Weiwei.
My mom put up words like these in the playroom at her house. I think it's cute and very inspiring for the imagination!
I love it. And it makes me so happy to know that I am not the only one who gets a "creative explosion," as I like to call it, when sipping wine! I know that PEACE and LOVE would definitely be two of my words. xo Samantha
ps. Cannot wait to see your fort! :)
These are fun words to put up on the wall. For myself I would put up on my wall, inspire... believe... love... hope... kindness
Thanks for sharing your inspiration.
I always wanted to put words in my kitchen.. something related to family but using old vintage letters.
This is a great idea for a boys room - and so creative!
Ren, once again, you insipired me! I know now what to do with my empty living room wall.. My words will surely include Share, Love, Hug, Happiness, Smile, Relax, Feel... Thank you again :-)
I have words and reminders throughout my house as well. On our closet we have the lines "one lifetime will not be enough for us", in my kitchen I have the popular "keep calm and carry on". I have quotes and notes taped all over my studio. The one I have closest and read most often is "we do not see the world as it is, we see the world as we are" from the Talmud.
This is such an adorable idea! I would put passion and inspiration - my daily reminders to live life to the fullest!
Lovely idea. I love the old standbys: peace, love, imagine, be, sing, etc. But, I think I'd feel pressure to break out the thesaurus and get some unheard of ones up there too.
This is so wonderful-I love this idea! I think I'd put "bliss" on our bedroom wall.
Ha! i am actually thinking about making word banners for the rooms in the new house
Family
Joy
Peace
Slumber ( i love this for the bedroom - it sound so much deeper and restful than sleep)
are the ones I have planned so far, but i will revisit here for further inspiration xx
WOW! that is so cool. I love words too. The most important to me though is hope. I think it is everything and practically a religion to me!
Great post :)
Depending on my day (with a 3.5 year old) it might say something like "serenity now!" ;)

Oh these are cute!
A really good idea! In that setting they seem to have a lot more meaning. One word says a great deal...
Such a clever idea! I would say... Be Yourself, Create and Believe
