Art From Zimbabwe by Lovermore Kambudzi

I love these two painting I saw in the art museum in Prague by Lovermore Kambudzi.
The size alone makes these painting impressive but it was the detail which mesmerized me.
Mr. Kambudzi is a contemporary artist who features elements of everyday life in Zimbabwe depicting caricature like figures.

I love the colors and the countless simultaneous story lines in his paintings.

At first I thought -COLORFUL-
but then I enlarged for a close up-
WOW- I could feel the heat, hear the crowds and almost see the sweat of the field workers. These paintings are so alive and say sooo much! Thank you for introducing us to Mr. Kambudzi.

These really are beautiful. I love the colors and detail. Christian and I traveled to Zimbabwe and were overwhelmed by the people there...so generous, friendly and kind.
