Serendipity 3- Caesars Palace- Las Vegas

My father taught me the word serendipity at a young age and it has always been one of my favorite words. What is not to love about -stumbling upon good fortune unexpectedly?

When I heard that there was a new Serendipity 3 opening in Las Vegas, at Caesars Palace, I was excited to try it. Serendipity’s is know for its special ‘Frrrozen Hot Chocolate’-
The original restaurant is located in Manhattan and was opened in 1954 by Stephen Bruce.

We ordered two desserts for three of us and the sad truth is we barely made a dent.

Oh well, in the words of Dr. J ‘should have waited until I could come too!’.
This is probably the only clock on the Strip!

And how cool is the lighting!?

The restaurant also has a full lunch and dinner menu with some very tasty sandwich selections.

Yes, serendipity is a great word. I must endeavor to use it more often. I could dive right into those desserts but that lighting is what I like best!

I love that word too, and guess what the first place I learned that word was at that very ice cream parlor in Manhattan, my mom took us there and I`ll never forget the word (great way to learn vocabulary:)), but amazingly I can`t remember what Ice Cream I had, so after reading your post I want to go there and hope to have a serendipitous chance to do so..
enjoy!!!

I am drooooooling. I remember my initial introduction to Serendipity was the Oprah show. She went and had the frozen hot chocolate and raved about it. It looked so good. I have long resisted the urge to order some on-line to try.....
