To make:
cook down about three cups of berries- I used raspberries, blue berries and strawberries.
add half a cup of water and half a cup of white sugar-
strain through metal mesh
I like to add the syrup to snow cones, water and ice cream
It keeps well for a few months in the fridge
I saved the leftover seeds in a separate jar and added white vinegar- in about a month I will strain the seeds out and use the vinegar for salad dressings.

Oooh, that looks perfect for pancakes in the morning or ice cream at night!
This looks delicious! I'm book marking this for the future!
Thanks sweetie! xo
Hope you're having a lovely day!
I've been making strawberry sauce all summer but adding a little almond extract. I could almost just eat it all by itself :)
We've been adding to pancakes, waffles, ice cream and lemonade. Love the salad dressing idea!
I love the idea of using a berry based syrup as a salad dressing!
YUM! I love the salad dressing idea. Never thought of that. That syrup looks pretty too...always a bonus!

Yum!!
Delicious and I particularly loved the idea of adding the 'leftovers' to vinegar for salad dressings. We are right in the midst of berry season here, so new ideas on how to use them are always welcome :-)
