Literally. One…after…the other.
I usually buy a box of Ikea glasses to replace and count myself lucky when they are broken while being washed and not straight after filling up with red wine.
I can still swoon over beautiful designer glasses like these by Calici Caratteriali
Maybe we should stick to less delicate wine glasses like these: Govino Wine Glasses
made from a proprietary, food/pharmaceutical safe PETG, only it is superior in that it reflects the wine's color and aromatics much like crystal. It is recyclable, but more importanly, it is reusable.
Do you use 'nice' (read expensive) wine glasses?

I suppose I use medium priced wine glasses. I don't use crystal for everyday but they are nice, from Pier One!

i def don't use expensive ones, i'd break them!
HAHA-John once actually hid a broken glass out on our fire escape, only to have me discover it when I stepped outside! I buy Crate and Barrel glasses on the cheap so I don't feel so crushed when they're all, well, crushed!
well, we don`t . although my husband is a wine lover and he would really like to have some expensive winde wine glasses.... maybe he gets 6 on his 40 birthday ; )
oh no! not expensive wine glasses for my house, they dont last more than a week, but these are truly beautiful!
This is wonderful!
it is like magic and there is a joke -- it is unique XD
we used to, but alas, mine shattered as well (one time cutting a big vein in my hand and causing a serious bleeding session where I almost went to the emergency room!). Now we drink red wine (nice or not) out of mason jars. Call me classy....
The glasses do seem to come and go..
