Green Tips

Tips to make life easier while staying 'green'
Re-use bread tags to identify cords

Re-use a wet wipe container to store plastic bags-
I'm going to make one of these for my car!

I love this idea and love how it looks-
Re-use old gutters to make a window box veggie garden.

We recently bought a stove top pop corn maker which we love-
This idea of using plain paper bags alleviates the plastic lined bags usually used for microwave popcorn.

I've wanted to do the gutter herb garden forever. But I'm lazy...

I use a kleenex box for my plastic bags, but otherwise no green tips!

All these ideas are doable.
Come spring I will be on the look out for discarded gutters.
I could paint them with bright colors.
These ideas are great, I appreciate you posting them.

oh i just love these ideas:) especially the popcorn one! i don't have too many green tips, but my friend actually crochets with plastic bags, which is pretty fabulous and unique, and also prevents them from piling up in a landfill somewhere!

Genuinely awesome ideas. Particularly love using those bread bag things to hold cords together and label them. Am so going to get onto that tomorrow (am in post Christmas organising phase!) Thanks :)

Ha! Brilliant!! Love the idea of re-using bread tags like that! Adds some colour!
Our little green idea for 2012 is growing potatoes in a plastic bag in our shed! Does is sound weird? Just read about it in a book yesterday and we will give it try soon!

Hope you had a cozy and delicious holiday and wishing you and yours a fab 2012!!!

Cann't wait with my veggie-garden against the wooden wall!
And now I know why I saved these small bread tags.
Thanks,
