I enjoyed reading all the comments from my post last week regarding the wilderness.
Our friend Stephen Yoo took some really amazing photographs on a recent family vacation to Alaska and Yukon. He is kind enough to allow me to share them here .
I love the feeling of vastness that his photos portray as well as the calming effect the natural magnitude has.
Don't these look like postcards!?
Love this action shot!
This one is like a breath of fresh air.
Stephen writes a blog about: All things colon, rectum, and anus
If you ever need a butt doctor (colorectal surgeon) and you are in the Beverly Hills area, in my bias opinion, he’s the one to see!

I love the hilarious way you ended this, and *all* these images are just absolutely magic - so majestic!
Oh wow, wow and wow!
It is so hard to believe these are real places. The pictures are just incredible.
And then the butt part....
HAHAHAHAHAHA

I was in Alaska and the Yukon last year and even those these images are gorgeous (and better than mine), they still can't do these places justice. Such splendor it's remarkable.
Now, what are the odds that I would happen to be visiting Beverly Hills AND need a butt doctor but you never know, you really don't. I can just see it - "find the Lady Ren blog and go to the archives for that doctor's name, quick"..
now that's one cool family vacation - great pictures!
WOW! These are beautiful photos. I can't get over how amazing Alaska is. If only Sarah Palin and freezing temps weren't there I might be tempted to settle in this beautiful land of ours.
I love the picture of the train... I was in Alaska a few years ago and remember beautiful scenery like this. I'm always amazed that people can capture it so well in pictures.
btw, your blog is great! Looking forward to reading more.
wow...
those are so beautiful. Each one nicer than the one before it.
Jude is right, this post took a hilarious turn towards the end. lol! Great photos though - they look like they come from a different time. The mountains are gorgeous!
yeah I hope that being in Beverly Hills I won't have problems with my colon;)hihi but I love Stephen's photographies and I will meet him in BH at least to tell him about it;)
hugs

These are stunning! They definitely could be postcards and they somewhat remind me of the ski resorts in Garmisch-Germany. xx
Whoa, those are some stunning pictures--you are right, they absolutely look like postcards. Jealous!
the images are beautiful!
Ren, You are hilarious!!! I love how you juxtapose best butt doctors with this stunning scenery! Those glacier pics look like where we currently live (well, the national park near where we live). Someday we'll be on the northern side of it though!
Great pictures! Loved 'em!
I SO want to travel to ALaska. These pictures are unbelievably beautiful.... like epic beautiful!
What incredibly gorgeous photos. I love his blog too. I actually live with a butt doctor. My husband is a general and colon and rectal surgeon. We refer to him as the rear admiral. ;) thanks for sharing these with all of us.
Yep. Second one does look like a postcard.
Great photographer/butt doctor friend you got there.
Thank you all for the kind comments, and thanks to Lady Ren for liking the pictures enough to post them on her excellent blog.
The weather had really cooperated for some excellent lighting conditions. As much as I tried to convey the sense of Alaska, the pictures don't do justice to actually being there. My favorite day was at Glacier Bay National Park and if you are ever considering a trip, do it!
As for the colorectal doctor part of things, your comments are amusing. Yes, if you're ever in Beverly Hills and you have an urgent hemorrhoid problem, I'm your man.
Wow, these photos are just amazing x
wow, these are incredible!
fantastic images!! so majestic!
