We live in the desert but I've had my share of run-in's with rain. Growing up in Toronto, one of the worst weather issues is when it is 'freezing cold' but just above freezing, so when it rains it sticks in slushy clumps.
I never understood umbrellas- after going through the effort of holding it- I always end up wet anyway.
When I saw this article about the Umbrella Coat I thought it is genius-
The hood of this jacket, designed by Greek designer Athanasia Leivaditou, converts into a clever 'hands free' umbrella. There are pull strings, similar to a sweatshirt hood, that prevent the hood from popping inside out- another hazard of umbrellas.
The innovation does not stop there- in case of a monsoon or major down pour- your rain coat can convert into a full length jumper!
Amazing!
Would you wear this?
Do you like rain?

maybe yes, so cool, haha
I never dress with that! hahahhah
Well, that is fascinating! I think I might wear that... And I do like the rain, especially listening to it at night.
i need this! i can never manage an umbrella, a stroller with a toddler and a bag!
I like the umbrella hat, and I wouldn't mind wearing it....the body suit is something else, kinda looks like a space suit.
I would DEFINITELY wear this. Mostly because it looks like a futuristic witch robe. :-D
i would probably wear this because that way i can talk on the phone, hold my thermos and walk to campus without having to juggle an umbrella.
this is amazing.
Mmm, not to sure on this one! You have to love when it rains in Toronto in the winter. I am not looking forward to it
I wouldn't wear it, but it's a pretty awesome idea...
all I can say is "ha!". It would actually come in pretty handy in Portland. Although I would feel like a complete dweeb.
i like rain... but no. i wouldn`t wear this...
except if i had too ; )
That is one funny outfit.... maybe in space?
Interesting, but looks like it would be difficult getting into and out of. I especially like rain when the sun is shinning.
Clair
lol! what a design!
but i would never wear it! too much hassle to get it on! pardon the phrasing! :)
i would be so tempted to wear that when i'm riding my bike or walking to and from the train station!!!
Clever yes.
Would I wear it?
No effing way.
It's pretty unique and you don't have to carry an umbrella- why not!?
So interesting, but, no, I would never actually wear it. ;)
I grew up in Wisconsin, I remember the thunderstorms fondly. The dark thunder clouds, flashes of lightning. It was spectacular. I miss those storms. But, no, I would not wear that outfit. Ever.
