No Knead Artichoke Bread

It's artichoke season.
We usually eat it two ways- simply steamed and then dipped in a vinaigrette or baked with a bread crumb, Parmesan cheese crust.
This year I tried something new- No Knead Artichoke Bread.
I used my regular No Knead Bread recipe but instead of water I used the dark green water that was left over after steaming the artichokes and I tossed in some cut up artichoke hearts while mixing all the other ingredients together-

Ren, that looks great! I was having another terasse dinner party on Friday and baked an onion bread with cumin spice, great also. Oh, and summer is coming, dusted off the lemon cake recipe, the easiest and most refreshing in summer heat ever.

just add more zest and I add the juice of two whole lemons into the mix. Can only recommend, it got hoovered from the table, literally :-)

oh yum, my Mother-in-law taught me how to make artichokes with bread crumbs, peas and olive oil, it's so good.
so what was the verdict on the bread, did your family like it?

I'm a total fan of no-knead, so I will consider this variation.

I've never really been into cooking, only the eating side of it, but it has been so nice to watch and hear you in your video that I almost got interested in the recipe itself :-)
Now, more seriously, the idea of using steamed artichoke water is just great. I have to taste some bread made with it!

I was couchsurfing with them when this bread was served and it was DELICIOUS!!! We had a great meal on the patio. Irena, what was the meal you fixed that night? I was trying to remember how it was fixed, the Indian one.

Maybe You'll Enjoy These Too...
