Unstick With Feng Shui

We are all creative beings.  There are times when we are mentally sharp, clear and can attack projects with vigor.  At other times we feel stuck and unable to take the next step.  Depending on what your creative outlet is, there are various methods that you may use to unstick yourself- Feng Shui has methods that are applicable to all areas of the Bagua.
If you ever feel in need of an over all 'lift' I would suggest doing these two things:
Wash your air vents.  There is nothing more symbolically linked with being 'stuck' than a blocked air flow. Vents should be cleaned-unscrew them, take them down/out, get them in water and soap.  Filters should be replaced every 3-6 months-
Secondly, wipe down light fixtures and light bulbs- replace any burnt out light bulbs.  It is impossible to see clearly when there is dirt and dust to cloud your vision.
I would also like to add- if you didn't change the batteries in your smoke detectors during day-light saving do so now- Especially before you put up your holiday lights.
I took down every vent on the first floor today- I washed them, took the dust buster to the inside of the air vent and wiped them down.  I did the same with the fans and the light bulbs and light fixtures- Tomorrow second floor-
Are you inspired?

Hmmmm...I'm inspired by the idea of getting inspired but I'm not inspired to clean! Ah if only there was another way!

I get the strangest satisfaction getting even the window air-con unit vents cleaned! Something about seeing all that yucky dirt wash clean, and knowing you're breathing much healthier air! Love it :)

I was just looking at my vents thinking it was time they needed to be cleaned. I only got the one done in the guest bedroom though--need to get to the rest of them. It's so true--the house feels so much better with them clean.

Nope-but that is because I would rather be working on some creative project. I usually assign myself a time frame to do housework. Once done, the rest of the day is spent in guilt free persuit of creativity.

PS-It doesn't always work!

For me, it was taking down and washing all the curtains. It was something I've never really done before (although, I've never really had curtains before) and I was surprised at what a difference it made in my mental state.

Actually, yes I am inspired. I've been thinking about a back closet in my house that is jammed full of things and wondering how clearing that out might improve my life. Don't know anything about feng shui but I'm interested.

Wow, you go girl! I should definitely do some of this and work on ridding our lives of so much clutter. I would feel so much better if I were able to do that!

My lights are in desperate need of a clean. With the woodburner going all day and night now, the dust created is huge. I am inspired!
