As I mentioned in yesterdays post we love Indian food and lucky for me Dr. J loves to make it!

(my fav and it tastes so good with lamb too)
(we often substitute the cheese for tofu- it gives the dish extra protein and it stays for a few days in the fridge)
We also make an unphotogenic lentil dish- with some sauteed onion and already soaked lentils- add some home made or store bought garam masala and this can be served as a side dish for up to a week.

This looks so delicious. We're really snowed in and Indian food makes me feel so warm and comfy. Enjoy.
OMG!!! Delicious!
These dishes looks amazing! I've only tried curry
Aloo gobi mater for me (isn't that what its called when you add peas?)
YUM!!!!!
Oh, I'm just dying for Indian now!
aloo gobi is a fav of mine!
omg!! Yummm! all of this looks delicious!
Lookss and sounds most yummy!
I've never had it but I think I need it in my mouth soon!
we love it here too - but how lucky you are that your husband is the chef! did you guys eat at anand's while living on sxm? it is the BEST indian food we've ever had. and we have lived in l.a. and san francisco if that says anything to you...
My husband does not make Indian food but he stops at a great Indian restaurant here in Stamford, CT "Tawa" on his way home from makin the bacon!
Maybe chicken masala tonight....
I love love indian food! and the lentils are my favorite with a few pieces of naan.yummy. how delicious!
I love Indian food too... anything with paneer. I can totally see the tofu substitution though, for the longest time I thought paneer was some form of Indian tofu!
mmm, looks so delish except for the gobi....i detest gobi and pick it out of everything. my mom used to make muttar-aloo-paneer [peas, potato, cheese] b/c i loved aloo and my brother loved paneer and we could both stand peas!
my dad's standby is any curry, though b/c e loves butter chicken, that's what he makes most for us. i love all his dals too, but my fave is "maa dal" or the black daal. oh and his saag is awesome too!
my mom makes a lot of vegetarian dishes and she's in charge of naan and rotis, including mukhi roti which is made from corn flower. we eat that with saag.
All of those looks looks delicious. I love cauliflowers and I could certainly try Aloo Gobi-Potato and Cauliflower this for tomorrows menu. Great post!
Oh it all sounds delish to me!!! :)

i like the coarse-chopped look of the palak... i sometimes use tofu as well, but of course wouldn't confess this to my mother! xo bb
