Dear Photograph

My Friend Dani first brought this website to my attention a few months ago-
I thought it was a great idea and wanted to try and replicate it myself this summer when I visit the home that I grew up in, probably for the last time.
It has since gone viral and I have seen it poping up everywhere.
It is the words that often get to me-
I sometimes cry- even though most of them are about sharing good memories.

Dear Photograph,
Grandma loved this beach.
Dan Perry
Dear Photograph,
I drained 3’s all day!
Janet
Dear Photograph,
That swing always brought a smile to my face.

Dear Photograph,
Nana always cared for us.
Jeffrey Pitcher

Dear Photograph,
Disney will always be magical, no matter what age.
Leslie Kalbfleisch

Ready for the one that had me bawling?
Dear Photograph,
Thank you for everything we had.

Yup, that's the one that got to me too. I love these. The website feels similar to Post Secret, which I also loved.

Yes and it's only 5:20 in the morning. I'm not sure I better go to this website. We have reproduced photos, same place and pose decades later but never thought of this one, very cool.
