A Quiet Morning At The Farmers Market

The Los Angeles ‘Original’ Farmers Market is open seven days a week.
Located at Third and Fairfax it is more of a tourist attraction than a fruit and veggie market, selling local produce.
There are many restaurants to choose from with general seating in the aisles. I love the idea that you can go with friends and each choose to eat from a different booth, sit together and at the end of the meal the Market staff will clear your table.
Dr. J is partial to the Brazilian BBQ which serves up a large array of meats off a spit. I’m always a sucker for fish tacos.
But for breakfast our favorite is the French crepes.
Here are some photos from a quiet morning at The Farmers Market.

That food looks fantastic, the market looks so cute and old fashioned too - mentally added to the "if I ever visit" list, thanks!

Why does it seem sometimes like all the best stuff is on the OTHER side of the country?! Jealous!

Love crepes, sweet or savory. I do gluten-free now but still delish. Nutella and banana inside might be my all-time favorite.

It pains me that we don't have a real farmer's market here. Le sigh.

French crepes? Fish tacos? Red velvet cakes? I'm so there. And I'm starving. Lovely photographs, too.

Love these photos - feel like I'm there! I had some good fish tacos in LA when I visited my brother last year. The Farmers Market sounds like a cool place.

What a great and colorful farmers market, a treat for all senses in the photos; in real life it must be delectable! Enjoy...

PS "washi" is Japanese paper, I answered a long-ish answer on my post (comment) too. You probably have seen this kind of paper, but maybe it is called just "Japanese paper" or by the specific names like mulberry, kozo, etc. Thanks for your visit and for asking:)

Our little town's farmers market opens today I believe. Thanks for the reminder, think I'll take the kids on over.

Of course, it is a teeny little thing in a park, nothing like this... yours looks like a freaking vacation.

This looks like so much fun. The farmer's markets in the midwest are certainly nothing like this...at least not where I live! Seems I could go to this place many times a week and be totally happy...

Maybe You'll Enjoy These Too...
