um,

"you shouldn't be thinking about this- it is not good for you."

wasn't that your comment recently when I posted on this???

but yes, you are right, we are all thinking about it all the time anyway.

and rita pavone is an acquired taste. not necessarily to be acquired.

Karumen- me too
Sherri- anything that makes you sad you should try and avoid- I still think that is good advice. I am not sad- frustrated, angry and quiet- that is how this makes me feel.

I think it's good to spread these images - good for you for putting them up. But I agree you also have to protect yourself from them at times. Even my husband - who seems able to consume ungodly amounts of world news - needs a break from this depressing episode.
Can anything good come of this? I hope so.

Haunting and tragic. It breaks the heart to think of the permanent damage we are doing to our world. I don't think most of us have the capcity to fully understand the depth of this destruction. I am certain I don't.

it's so depressing, we're watching it in the news and can't believe that they aren't able stop the leak:/

Obviously you know I posted about this, too. The images are shocking and I hope they serve as a wake=up call to people....

p.s. are you on Twitter or FB?

Ren,
Thank you so much for commenting on my blog regarding the "give back". It was a hard post to write but I'm starting to think we need to see it to be reminded of if each of us does a few small things consistently we can change.

Maybe You'll Enjoy These Too...
