Google Me

We watched Google Me last night. I think it is a great concept for a documentary. Dr. J fell asleep, but he did ask how it ended. The premise of the film is that one night this guy Jim Killeen Google’s himself and decides to make a film about the other Jim Killeen’s in the world. Ultimately he meets, interviews and genetic tests six men, all named Jim Killeen.
He funded this project on his own and actually started production prior to getting Google’s permission. What I love about Google is that their reaction (which is part of the film) was to say “What a fantastic idea, I can’t believe we didn’t think of that”. So I support Google (it’s my home page) and I love the fact that Google supports the little man.
One of the Jim Killeen’s I found disgustingly offensive- If you watch the film you will know who I mean and don’t read too much into my revulsion. I really love accidental documentaries and Google Me is driven by passion with only a touch of self-absorption. The film is 97 minutes long and should have been shorter.
You're going to Google yourself aren't you?

Bo- The movie has short 'Street Shout Outs' where people have been asked if they googled themselves. Really funny!
CB- Very cool concept. Maybe it would have been better if Google did it!
Kendra- I vote that it is worth seeing
Frenchie- Waaay too long, that is why I thought it was a bit self-absorbed. He just could not edit and cut himself.

Sounds interesting, but am wary of the "too long" comments regarding the films length to look it up.
